The Courage to Begin: My Journey as a Startup Founder
"Starting this journey wasn't just about creating a business, it was about changing my life completely. Imagine deciding one day: "Yeah, let's throw all stability out the window and see what happens!" That was me".
Hi, my name is Lissa, and I just started my own startup, NSERA.

Starting this journey wasn't just about creating a business, it was about changing my life completely. Imagine deciding one day: "Yeah, let's throw all stability out the window and see what happens!" That was me.
Some days it's exhilarating, other days it's me staring at my laptop, wondering why I thought this was a good idea while my coffee goes cold… again.
Every day is a test. I've had to leave my comfort zone behind, challenge my routines, and let go of the certainties I once relied on. Like, who knew that negotiating with a supplier could feel like an intense episode of a reality TV show? Or that explaining my AI-powered plans to people sometimes earns me the "Are you sure about this?" face.
Every. single. time.
The challenges are real. Financial uncertainty, finding the right partners, developing a product that actually works… and yes, there have been moments when I've Googled "how do successful entrepreneurs survive on three hours of sleep?" But somehow, it's the passion, the excitement, and the tiny victories that keep me going.
Running a startup is more than work, it's a lifestyle. It requires courage, perseverance, and the ability to laugh at your own mistakes (or at least cry quietly in a corner). Above all, it requires daring to dream, daring to act, and daring to trust yourself even when everyone else thinks you might be a little crazy.
Looking back, I see a path full of challenges, growth, and yes, a fair share of hilarious "oops" moments. Every day brings new lessons, new opportunities, and a reminder that sometimes the chaos is the best part. And that, I've learned, is the essence of starting a startup: opening yourself fully to the unknown, keeping a sense of humor, and finding the courage to steer your own course—even if it occasionally feels like trying to drive a rocket while blindfolded.
And while you are reading this... I'm still looking for investors… interested?
Greetings Lissa
